Welcome to Camp Sebago – Where Summer Memories Begin!

Camp Sebago enriches the lives of many.

At Camp Sebago, summer is more than just a season, it’s an experience that stays with you for a lifetime. From a seven-year-old spending their first week away from home to a teenager joining our staff, and even seniors visiting for weekend retreats, everyone finds a special place here at Camp Sebago.

Our mission is simple: to nurture every aspect of a camper’s spiritual, personal, social and environmental growth through fun, creative, educational, and healthy experiences—all within a supportive, cooperative community set against the beauty of the outdoors.

Who do we serve?

At Camp Sebago, our campers come to us through The Salvation Army corps (churches) and service units across Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Our main program welcomes boys and girls ages 7–12, while our Music & Arts Week offers creative adventures for teens (ages 13–16) and younger campers alike, blending art, music, and unforgettable summer fun.

About us:

GOALS OF SALVATION ARMY CAMPING

At Camp Sebago our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where campers and staff are inspired to grow spiritually, personally, socially, and environmentally, while discovering their full potential.

At camp participants will:

  • Grow in awareness of God’s love and deepen their spiritual understanding through devotions and sharing the message of Jesus, while receiving support for personal or spiritual challenges.
  • Strengthen personal skills and creativity through arts, music, sports, and outdoor activities, while challenging themselves to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of personal achievement.
  • Build meaningful relationships with peers and staff across diverse backgrounds by fostering compassion, respect, and understanding, while participating in fun, safe, and adventurous programs that develop teamwork, responsibility, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Learn about nature and God’s creation through activities that promote environmental stewardship and respect for all living things.

CAMP SEBAGO: A place to grow, explore, thrive – where faith, fun and friendship come together to create life-changing experiences.
